Our Cleveland medical malpractice team has been fighting on behalf of injured plaintiffs for over 30 years, establishing a strong track record of results in the process. This year, The Mellino Law Firm is also celebrating 8 full years of active membership with Primerus, an international network of top-rated, independent law firms that have an unparalleled reputation for quality!
Including over 200 member firms across 40 countries, Primerus is an elite legal society that provides access to exclusive resources, as well as collaboration with some of the greatest legal minds in the world. To become an official member of The International Society of Primerus Law Firms, candidate law firms must first meet their exceptionally high standards for acceptance. Membership is invitation-only, and involves an extensive vetting process.
This vetting process requires a firm to submit written recommendations from judicial and community leaders, in addition to former clients and other plaintiffs’ and defense firms. It doesn’t stop there: After admission to Primerus, member firms must continue to observe an exacting code of ethics, as well as perform regular community service, attend meetings and seminars, and show ongoing proof of compliance.
Here are some of the other requirements for a firm to maintain Primerus membership:
- Receive the maximum AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell®
- Show an unyielding commitment to integrity and honesty
- Deliver an excellent product for clients
- Provide reasonable legal fees
- Continue to develop expertise through Continuing Legal Education (CLE)
- Demonstrate civility and professional courtesy in all firm interactions
- Pass annual quality audits from Primerus leadership
Delivering Results with a Personal Touch
As the only plaintiffs’ firm in Ohio to ever become a Primerus Law Firm, The Mellino Law Firm continues to stand out from the rest. By teaming up with other elite firms and participating in regular Primerus events over the last 8 years, we have been able to continuously expand our knowledge base, and provide better results for our clients. Because we limit our focus to a few select medical malpractice cases at a time, we can deliver the personalized and attentive service our clients love – aided by the extensive resources of the world’s largest “virtual law firm.”
